After-School Program

The After School Activities Program (ASAP) provides high quality after school programs for middle school students which ensure their safety, increase their academic success, improve their social skills and introduce them to new and exciting activities.

The ASAP program provides students with a wide array of activities that are safe, fun, and productive. ASAP is about ensuring healthy futures for our children by having a safe environment where they can learn and participate in enriching activities. The program offer both homework assistance and tutoring, followed by a snack, then a menu of activities.

Montgomery Middle wouldn’t be complete without sports! Our Montgomery Mayans make us proud every day by shooting hoops, scoring goals, making touchdowns, spiking the ball, hitting home runs and even by showing off the “turkeys inside of them” with a mile run. GO MAYANS!!!

AVID stands for “Advancement via Individual Determination” and it is a university-preparation program designed to help students ensure they are academically and socially prepared for success in college. Over the course of two years the Montgomery Middle AVID program helps students develop the academic skills/habits they will need to be successful in high school and at a four-year university. AVID students take the most rigorous classes they can, but receive time in AVID to collaborate with their peers in tutorials that focus on their core subject areas.
